Our mutuality means our commitment to customers naturally spills over into the wider community and society as a whole.
We invest responsibly by engaging with particular businesses we invest in to support them to improve their corporate behaviour and encourage positive change. Additionally, we vote on a range of issues, including company governance, impact on climate change, and pay and compensation. We also expect all the asset managers who manage your investments to consider environmental, social and governance factors in their investment decision making processes. Lastly, we collaborate with policymakers, the companies we invest in, industry groups and other stakeholders on key issues such as climate change to support meaningful regulatory and industry change.
We also support our charity partners, Cancer Research UK and Turn2us, and social enterprises through our Changemakers programme, supporting future solutions that will build financial resilience.
And our research into the value of financial advice and how to fix the advice gap is helping generate debate within our industry and inspire positive change.
