Partial loss of sight - permanent and irreversible
Permanent and irreversible loss of sight and visual field, to the extent that even when tested with the use of visual aids, the visual acuity is less than or equal to 0.25 (6/24) in the better eye using a Snellen eye chart and the visual field in the better eye upon testing is reduced to 45 degrees or less of an arc, as certified by an ophthalmologist.
Change from the previous definition
Visual field in better eye updated to 45 degrees or less of an arc from 40 degrees.
We also changed this from an additional conditions cover to a full condition.
