 Our Helping Hand wellbeing services are now available to new and existing plan owners through our customer portal.

Through our customer portal, your clients have immediate access to their cover details and can register for our Helping Hand wellbeing services.

We've strengthened our Income Protection so your clients can adapt their policy as their needs change.

A Helping Hand

  • New and existing plan owners can now access our Helping Hand wellbeing services through our customer portal.
  • Designed to help your clients maintain a healthy lifestyle, the wellbeing service gives the plan owners online access to a range of hand-picked early care medical services so they have the help and advice they need to stay fit and healthy and stop small health issues becoming a big problem.

A better digital experience for your clients

Through our customer portal, My Royal London, your clients can:

  • Access our Helping Hand wellbeing services through our health assessment partner, Livesmart
  • View their policy details online
  • Download their cover summary
  • Change their address details.

Flexible Income Protection

We've strengthened our Income Protection to give your clients more flexibility to adapt their policy as their needs change, such as a change in occupation or mortgage repayments.

  • Cover increase options

    • We've increased the maximum age from 55 to 60.
    • We've enhanced a one-off cover increase option from £10k or 50% of the original sum assured, whichever is less, to £12k or 50% of the original sum assured, whichever is less.
    • We've increased the total amount your clients can increase their cover by over the term of their plan from £10,000 to £24,000.
  • Job flexibility options

    • We’ve enhanced our cover to allow clients moving to a less risky occupation to change this on their existing plan.
    • Clients who wish to shorten their deferred period due to a change in occupation can also do this on their existing plan.

For job flexibility options, clients will complete a declaration of health form online, and if we can offer the original underwriting decision, or better, then we'll update their existing plan.
