Our Critical Illness Cover grows with your clients

No one wants to think about children getting critically ill, but unfortunately it’s more common than you might think. And when a child is ill, it can put a financial strain on a family, as well as an emotional one.

At Royal London, we’re committed to giving your clients cover where it matters.

No one likes to think about their child becoming critically ill, but it’s more common than you might think.

That’s why we’ve introduced new options which your clients can add to their own Critical Illness Cover.

Introducing, our new Children’s Critical Illness Cover - made to measure for the whole family.

Your clients can choose the level of cover to suit their needs:

Enhanced Children’s Critical Illness Cover provides comprehensive, tailored protection from pregnancy through to young adulthood, and includes 12 child-specific conditions – as well as our main critical illness conditions and additional conditions. It also includes an extra additional condition – pregnancy complications.

Standard Children’s Critical Illness Cover covers children for our main critical illness conditions – great for clients who perhaps want some cover for older children, or for those who may be a bit more cost conscious.

And if clients don’t have children yet, or don’t want cover for children, they can remove Children’s Critical Illness Cover completely – so they won’t pay for something they don’t need.

We understand there’s no one-size-fits-all. Your clients all have different needs which grow with their family over the years.

That’s why they can add or remove Children’s Critical Illness Cover at any time, over the phone – without giving us any medical information.

We know that when it comes to protecting children there’s no one-size-fits all – what suits one family might not suit another. So we’ve improved our Children's Critical Illness Cover to make sure your clients get the cover that matters most to them.

When your clients take out Critical Illness Cover with us, they now have the option to choose a level of Children’s Critical Illness Cover that best meets their needs and budget.

And because a family’s needs are bound to change over the years, our children’s cover is fully flexible. If their needs change, your clients can add or remove Children's Critical Illness Cover easily over the phone, at any time and without giving us any medical information.

Our Children's Critical Illness Cover options

This option covers children for our 45 main critical illness conditions – great for clients who want some children’s cover, perhaps for their older children, or who may be more cost conscious.
