Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) rate change

In March 2016, the government announced an increase in the rate of IPT from 9.5% to 10%, effective from 1 October 2016. Royal London will pay the additional amount of IPT, so there will be no premium changes for clients with Unemployment Cover and/or Waiver of Premium (Unemployment).
