Letting your clients know

We're writing to your eligible clients who have received a ProfitShare award of £1 or more. Here are some samples of what we're sending.

Planholders

From 10 April, we'll begin writing to unit-linked planholders who have received a ProfitShare award of £1 or more. Planholders who have received less than £1, can check their ProfitShare award through the online service.

In future years, your clients will be able to find details of their ProfitShare awards through our online service and in their yearly statements.

Those customers who have a with profits plan will be able to see their award in their yearly statement as normal.

Employers

We’ll be writing to employers with qualifying schemes in the first 2 weeks of April to let them know that we’ve made a ProfitShare award. We'll also tell them that we'll be writing to their qualifying employees who have received a ProfitShare award of £1 or more.

Trustees

We’ll be writing to Trustees of qualifying schemes in the first 2 weeks of April to let them know that we’ve made a ProfitShare award.

For Trustees of Defined Contribution schemes, we’ll also enclose a letter and a ProfitShare leaflet for each of their qualifying scheme members who have received an award of £1 or more.
