You can agree your initial and ongoing charges with your client at the outset. We can apply ad hoc charges at a later date and when we receive a signed Adviser charge instruction form confirming your client's consent.

To maximise tax efficiency,1 we’ll invest the full amount of each contribution into your client’s plan before cancelling units to pay the adviser charge. We'll always deduct the charge from your client's plan before making a payment to you.

Self Investments and income drawdown

If your client uses our Self Investment and/or our income drawdown facility – Income Release – as soon as their personal pension plan has been set up, the adviser charges agreed upfront are likely to include the cost of this advice.

If your client doesn’t use our Self Investments and/or our income drawdown facility straight away, and new advice is provided, you’ll need to give us a new adviser charging instruction if you’d like the charge to be deducted from your client's plan.

All charges are deducted from your client’s Core Investments.
