FT Adviser Retirement Freedom forums

30 March 2015
Royal London was proud to be a main sponsor of these events which took place in London and Birmingham last month. There were contributions from the Pensions Minister, Steve Webb, and representatives from the regulator and several industry commentators.

The main aim of the forums was to address any questions advisers might have around the new Pension Freedoms which come into force on 6th April:

  • What is likely to be the way forward over the next few years?
  • Will we see a radical change in the industry?
  • What will the impact be on clients?
  • Are the expected spate of new product launches fit for purpose?

Financial Adviser received unprecedented demand for the two events, with over 320 advisers attending across the two days and several more on the waiting list.

Our presentation

Royal London's presentation covered the key changes to retirement benefits and the tax treatment of income taken from DC schemes after April 2015.

Since the workshops, this presentation has been in high demand by advisers. Please speak with your usual Royal London contact if you'd like to see it or require more information.
