XPLAN goes live

17 December 2015
Royal London are now live with XPLAN for policy valuations.

This service is designed to ease the pressures of administration and compliance. It does this by allowing you to see a client's entire financial portfolio and freeing up more of your time to give your clients the advice they're looking for.

Getting set up

1. To access your Royal London clients' policy details via XPLAN you must first be registered for our online service.

  • This will also provide you with access to our secure extranet service with quotations, client details and policy servicing.
  • If necessary, you can register using our simple online process.

2. You will also need to have a Unipass certificate attached to your online service account.

  • A Unipass certificate is available via the Unipass website.
  • Please ensure that you connect your account to your Unipass certificate at registration.
  • The registration process usually takes less than 2 business days to set up access to all of your clients' policies.
  • Once the process has been completed, you will be able to use your Unipass certificate to access your clients' details.

Using XPLAN

  • To access the details of a Royal London client through XPLAN you need to enter the client's personal details and Royal London policy number entered as an External Contract ID within XPLAN under Royal London.
  • If you have already uploaded your Unipass into XPLAN, it will automatically be available for use for Royal London. You can click Refresh on the client or account to download the latest valuation.
  • The service covers Unit Linked Bonds, Individual and Group Pensions. Please see the XPLAN Datafeed Provider Addendum for further details.
