New SIPP third party administrator appointed

17 December 2015
We have appointed James Hay Partnership (JHP) as our new SIPP third party administrator.

What date does this take effect from?

The transition to JHP has begun and will be completed when asset managers have registered JHP as the new administrator of their assets on Royal London’s behalf.

Why have we chosen JHP?

JHP has an excellent reputation in this market and following a review of our proposition, we believe our customers will benefit from the high quality service they offer. In particular, our customers will get an improved online experience.

How are we communicating this change to our customers?

Advisers and customers directly affected were notified of the changes in October. Copies of the letters issued can be found here:

How will this affect customers?

The main change for our customers is that they will have to register and sign up for the JHP online service so they can view their assets.

Are the fees changing?

Fees will remain the same, however due to how JHP trade, customers may find that there are less charges than previously made.

Will customers’ assets be affected by the changes?

Customers’ assets will not be affected. They will be in the same position with JHP as they were with our previous third party administrator.
